Source hierarchy
We prioritize the operator’s Tanzania-facing website and help pages for published product, rule and cashier statements. For licensing, we use official Gaming Board of Tanzania registers. A provider’s own page can describe game mechanics but cannot prove Betway currently lists that game.
Secondary market pages may help identify topics to investigate, but they are not treated as audited popularity data, current payment instructions or proof of availability. Search-result snippets are leads, not a substitute for the linked page.
What was and was not checked
We checked public product navigation, selected game and help pages, and the GBT sports and casino registers. We did not open an account, submit identity documents, install an app, place a bet, play a game, deposit, withdraw, contact support or perform a speed test.
We did not collect a statistically meaningful sample of odds or games, calculate a rating, or interview users. No claim of hands-on testing is made.
How uncertainty is handled
Time-sensitive information such as game availability, promotions, payment routes, limits and fees is marked for a live account check when it could not be confirmed from a stable primary source. We do not fill missing facts with common industry assumptions.
When operator and regulator descriptions differ or the register is unclear, the page attributes the statement and points readers to the primary source instead of resolving the question by guesswork.
Corrections and review dates
The stated review date records when public material was checked. It does not guarantee that a dynamic page remains unchanged. If a source changes or a concrete error is identified, the guide should be corrected and the date updated.
Readers can report a specific error with the page, claim and primary evidence. Do not send account credentials or personal payment information.
